Creativity often feels spontaneous: we talk about having flashes of insight or sudden inspiration. But our ideas do come from our own minds, which means we can understand their source and encourage their growth. This workshop will look at where inspiration comes from and explore example hands-on ways to activate creative thinking, primarily using drawing and coloring, but some writing as well.
Taught by teaching artist and science writer, Rachel Mirus. Materials will be provided and light refreshments will be served. Participants are welcome to bring a beverage of choice to enjoy during the workshop.
