Become immersed in an investigation of the tropical rain forests! Take a creative journey to the Rainforest and learn how to design many rainforest inhabitants. Explore the characteristics of rain-forest animals, including size, color, feeding habits and in which part of the forest they reside. Should they be perched in the emergent layer or sitting on the forest floor? Will they crawl through the shrubs, or swing from vines in the understory?

Children will create multimedia animal collages, detailed drawings, watercolor and acrylic paintings, and 3D clay sculptures!
