Playful Minds Workshops (Ages 4 - 6)
Calling all young artists, storytellers, movers, groovers, and explorers - Playful Minds Workshops are made for kids! In this series of five workshops, early childhood educators Raya and McKinley will lead kids through fun-filled and enriching themed experiences that support creative expression through exploration. These workshops are not just educational and entertaining, but are a celebration of curiosity, creativity, and friendship. From arts and crafts to interactive storytelling, from music and movement to cooking, there will be something for every child to enjoy and learn from.
All sessions run from 9am-12pm. Students should bring a packed lunch.
Week 1, Saturday April 20th: Artistic Adventures
Week 2, Sunday April 28: Young Food Explorers
Week 3, Sunday May 5: Move and Groove
Week 4, Saturday May 25: Musical Marvels
Week 5, June 1st: Storytime Spectacular

About the Workshop Directors
These classes will be led by Raya and McKinley, two locals who are passionate about working with children. Raya and McKinley have been working with children for 13+ years in various settings, and most recently co-teaching together in a local preschool! They have now joined forces to create a magical learning experience for children through their engaging workshops. Raya grew up with a love for the outdoors, which has inspired her to share this passion with children and teach environmental awareness to youth. McKinley’s active lifestyle and passion for adventure drives her motivation to make movement a fun and enjoyable experience for all children. With a shared passion for working with children and a deep commitment to community engagement, Raya and McKinley have embarked on a mission to make learning a joyous and enriching experience for every child. They wish to continue to support children in our community to explore different ways to express their interests through art, movement, music, and cooking with a nature-based focus.

How to add multiple sessions to your cart
If you’re planning for your child to attend all 5 sessions, simply select the 5 session bundle option!
-Select your preferred date from the Session Selection drop down menu and hit “Click to Register and Pay”
-Enter your child’s information on the Student Information form pop up, then hit Click to Register and Pay.
-Return to the Session Selection drop down to select and add more session dates (you will need to re-enter details on Student Information form for each selected date)
-When you’re done, hit the shopping cart icon at the bottom right to check out and pay.
