Out of This World - Outer Space Art Summer Camp (Grades 2-4)

Become amazed, captivated, and intrigued by the universe beyond our planet! We will combine Art and Science to learn about rockets, spaceships, the moon, galaxies, constellations and so much more. Children will create their Outer Space Art through clay, painting, drawing and collage.

About the Artist-Teacher

Welcome Artists! My name is Heather O’Hare and I am grateful to be an Art teacher in our amazing community for the past 18 years. I am thrilled to work with young artists at Camp Meade this summer!

I believe that through the process of creating art, children experience creative thinking, problem solving and development of their inner artist. Children can express their imaginations, solve challenging problems and find inspiration while learning about far away places and our natural surroundings here in Vermont! 

I live in Waterbury with my two children and my 11 ½ year old “puppy”. We love to spend time with family and friends, travel, bike, hike, ski and make art.
