Architecture Adventures Summer Camp (Grades 2-4)

Ages: Children entering grades 2-4

It’s time to get creative with architecture! Students will unleash their imagination, tap into their unique creativity, learn architectural skills and design their dream building while having FUN! Children will explore their own self-expression through designing a building of their very own. We will use tools and techniques such as balance, drawing, building and interior design for their dream structure. Artists will use wood, clay, LEGOS and drawing tools.

About the Artist-Teacher

Welcome Artists! My name is Heather O’Hare and I am grateful to be an Art teacher in our amazing community for the past 18 years. I am thrilled to work with young artists at Camp Meade this summer!

I believe that through the process of creating art, children experience creative thinking, problem solving and development of their inner artist. Children can express their imaginations, solve challenging problems and find inspiration while learning about far away places and our natural surroundings here in Vermont! 

I live in Waterbury with my two children and my 11 ½ year old “puppy”. We love to spend time with family and friends, travel, bike, hike, ski and make art.
