Handy Mam DIY Tool Workshop

  • Camp Meade 961 U.S. 2 Middlesex, VT, 05602 United States (map)

Registration is now open for Power Tools 101, a foundational, hands-on workshop designed for women and LGBTQ folks who want to build skills, confidence, and maybe even a bookshelf.

You might be wondering —
“I’ve used a power tool before… do I really need a 101 workshop?”
If you’ve ever called a circular saw a “power saw”, or aren't totally sure what the difference is between a drill and a driver

this class is 100% for you.
(No shame — just real talk.)

Even if you’ve dabbled in DIY, I'll cover:

  • What tool to use when (and why)

  • How to stay safe + avoid common injuries

  • How to actually feel confident when using tools — not just get through it

  • Hands-on practice with saws, drills, sanders, and more

This workshop is not about perfection — it’s about practice, play, and power (tools).
I'm here to demystify the tool world and give you real, usable skills in a safe, supportive space.
