Formed in Northern Vermont in the summer of ’24, The Sara Whitehair Band (SWB) has quickly become known for their funky classics, deep-pocket grooves, and a fresh breath of soul in every set.
Frontwoman Sara Whitehair, who hand-picked the SWB lineup, leads with powerful vocals and her soulful sax style. Backed by Chris Lynch (guitar), Dan Swain (bass), Chris Zebal (keys), newest member Cal McCandless on drums, and Zaq Meyer on trumpet, SWB delivers a tight, groove-heavy sound with rich horn textures and an irresistible rhythm section that will keep you moving.
