Set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Bees & Friends is a colorful, imaginative ballet highlighting critters familiar to gardeners of all ages! Bees, caterpillars, cardinals, fireflies and butterflies will dance among the trees and flowers, celebrating and honoring their importance to a healthy, thriving ecosystem.
Join us when doors open for family friendly events centered around themes of pollination!
Activities include:
-Learning from Jerry the Butterfly guy and bring a blank shirt for a butterfly screen printing activity (or purchase a blank tee at the event)!
-Get the buzz on bees and their importance from Mike at Bee the Change.
-Take a mini dance class from Ballet Vermont dancers.
-Craft your own ladybug dancer and learn about how ladybugs are friends of gardeners!
-Meet the characters of "Bees & Friends" at the photobooth before you leave!

Ballet Description:
Bees & Friends is a vivid, delightful ballet depicting bees, bugs and birds iconic to their seasons. Set to Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, Bees & Friends brings focus to the small, nestled creatures crucial to a healthy Vermont. The ballet explores topics of pollination, metamorphoses, integrated pest management and bio-luminescence.
Doors for early show open at 12:30pm. Show starts at 2pm till 3pm.
