Kindergarten through 4th Grade

There are currently three sessions available for sign up for Spring 2025 After School Art. ONE Arts Studio offers flexible scheduling; sign up for as many or as few days a week as needed to best serve your family’s agenda. Drop in is also an option!

Session One: January 20th-February 21st

Session Two: March 5th- April 18th (* Note: No After School March 3rd or 4th)

Session Three: April 28th-June17th (*Note: No After School May 26th, Memorial Day)

The One Arts after school art program engages the whole child with an emphasis on visual arts. We acknowledge the need for play in order for creative intelligence to flourish. As Maria Montessori said, “Play is the work of the child.” We offer outdoor free play and always circle back to visual arts. We cover gelli printing, gesture drawing, mask-making and clay among other activities.

If your child attends Moretown Elementary School or Rumney Elementary School bus transportation is available from school to camp; otherwise parents must arrange transportation.

All parents pick up students at Camp Meade 5:45pm

Class Experience

The After School Art program at Camp Meade with ONEArts is a mixture of outdoor time, group activities, plant and tree identification, sketchbook construction, drawing, painting, creating cardboard structures, printmaking and clay creation. 

Sample Class Format

• Check In: Snack and Water break. Group Activities

• Outside Time: free play and games

• Art Activities

• Outside Time and Pick-up (variable as sometimes art projects run until 5:45pm)

Other Things To Know

Cancellation Policy: Cancel three weeks or more before class and receive a full refund. All other cancellations are nonrefundable.

What To Bring

• Please provide a snack and water bottle for your child.

• Please provide a spare set of clothes that can stay at ONEArts for the semester

• Please ensure that your child arrives with appropriate rain and winter gear

• We provide all art materials
